The best free blogging platform is blogger from Google. Everyone can create and maintain free blogs, websites also in blogspot.com free sub domain. In 2012 blogger upgraded, given extra features like permalinks, google analytics in settings, robots.txt, search description, location and so many options. In the past so many are using wordpress script for blogging in commercial and blogger is for personal. Now blogger implemented with new features, everyone can do commercial blogs also in blogger for free.
Getting started with blogger
Everyone can easily sign in to blogger using their existing google account/gmail id, its free. If not create a google account in gmail.com.
Log in to blogger.com using gmail id.
After log in to blogger, the dash board will come. If you have already blogs, it will display as list, otherwise click on create blog.
Create a blog in blogger
You can create blog in blogger is simple and just 30 seconds to create a blog using free templates given by blogger. Please see the below screenshot for creating blog.
Please fill the following fields in blog creation in blogger.
1. Blog Title (Fill Your Blog Title, ex: Homemade Recipes, Electronic World, etc)
2. Blog Address (Check for availability of your blog sub domain .blogspot.com address, ex: recipesworld.blogspot.com)
3. Choose the Temple ( Choose any of the listed templates in blogger, i.e., simple, dynamic views, picture window, travel, ethereal etc
4. Create blog (After fill all the fields click on create blog)
Blogger Blog Posting
After creation of the blog in blogger, Blog dashboard will come like below screenshot.
Click on 'New Post' marked in the screenshot. Then Compose the Post like gmail compose, you can add images, videos, font size, color, bold, italic, underline etc. You can write scripts also in HTML option. Screenshots given below both Compose and HTML options in blogger posting.
The Option is like the above screenshots, First one is like normal compose like a gmail compose. Second one HTML option is for advanced blog posts like tables, customer html scripts, iframes etc.
In the above screenshots you can found Post Settings in the sidebar. You can add labels for different categories of posts, Schedule date for post (for future posts), Custom permalink, Search Description, Location, Options and Custom Robots Header tags.
After posting Click on publish button in the post, if you edit the post publish button appear like Update.
